LiveU Solo helps the Isha Foundation reach out to millions across the globe
Solo technology used to live stream events, including the Cauvery Calling and Mahashivaratri
The Challenge
The campaigns involved daily outdoor activities. As a result, dependable bandwidth on-the-go was not assured. The organizers tried using phones and laptops with live streaming software, but the video quality was extremely poor and unreliable. They started looking for a solution to suit their requirements and came across LiveU Solo. The cellular bonding technology offered by the device turned out to be the perfect answer.
The Solution
The Foundation started live streaming all their events and campaigns using LiveU Solo and LU-Smart – the LiveU smartphone app. Events included the night-long Mahashivaratri festival at the Isha Yoga Center – which is watched by around 50 million viewers, the Cauvery Calling and Rally for Rivers projects. Using LiveU’s live streaming solutions, they were able to connect with millions of well-wishers and volunteers in India and around the world.
