Turning golf buggies into mobile broadcast units – live from the Women’s Amateur Championship 2025! Using the golf court in Nairn as a testing ground, we took remote production to a whole new level. With seven golf buggies equipped with LU800 units, including high gain antenna, LiveU powered seamless live coverage from one of the most remote and breathtaking links courses in Scotland. Together with our friends from Clarus Networks, who added Starlink technology and expertise, we ensured maximum bandwidth at any spot out in the field. All camera feeds were transmitted to a central studio in London where the actual production was carried out. Live streaming from areas with reduced cellular signal was once an impossible mission. But with LiveU IQ (LIQ™), resilient, high-quality live streams became achievable, and full remote production capabilities were optimized. Driving technological innovation at the ‘Green Hell’… 🏎️Considered to be one of the toughest endurance races in the world, the 24-hour motor race at the renowned Nürburgring in Germany served as another test ground for LiveU IQ (LIQ™). During a joint proof of concept (POC) with TV SKYLINE GmbH — the production company for the race — and our German partner, netorium AG, we successfully tested our revolutionary connectivity solution, achieving highly encouraging results. Installed inside a racing car, an LU800 video encoder delivered live signals from an onboard camera over multiple bonded cellular connections – under extremely challenging network conditions. Travelling at high speed, as the circuit snakes through the Eifel mountains, the camera car put LIQ™ through its paces as it successfully transmitted high quality live video over public cellular connections, despite there being hundreds of thousands of spectators using the same networks.  Wolfgang Reeh, TV Skyline, concludes: "We gave the LiveU and netorium team the opportunity to test their products under the toughest conditions in the racing series. The result is impressive! The technology is developing into an alternative for providing reliable broadcast and streaming signals at major events!"
